《Mystic Waters 神秘海洋》是 Davol 出道第一张专辑。这张专辑本来是他自己製作出来作为礼物送给朋友的录音小样。后来 Silver Wave Records 的老闆 James Marienthal 无意间听到后非常欣赏，遂和 Davol 签约发行了专辑。



《Mystic Waters 神秘海洋》是1989年销售最好、最受欢迎的新世纪音乐专辑之一，在新世纪排行榜上进入了前15名，并获得 NAC 电台TOP30嘉奖。对于仅仅利用夜晚时间进行音乐创作的 Davol 来说，这样的表扬无疑是对他音乐天赋的绝对肯定。
